5 Creative Boosts: Revitalising Tips for Recharging Creative Energy

There will always be peaks and troughs to creativity, we can’t create and produce on full power all the time so it helps to have some tricks up your sleeve for when you feel low on creative energy. Here are my top tips to help:

1. Grab a journal and get writing. There may be an underlying fear or doubt blocking you and it’ll help to get it out on paper.

2. A little treat goes a long way. I love to pick up a new book or fresh flowers to give me a little boost.

3. Rest & Restore. A bath or some gentle excercise might be just what you need.

4. Reconnect. Looking through my sketchbooks or art books will always spark some inspiration.

5. Dance party. Hands down my favourite way to bring energy levels back up is to put on a great tune and jump around the kitchen or studio. Be silly and have fun because that’s the whole point of this right?
